We took a shuttle with other vacationers and drove approximately 45 minutes to Bayahibe Beach. Arriving on the beautiful Bayahibe Beach, we got on a Catamaran Cruise. We sailed for 1/2 hour, drinking, dancing and enjoying the beautiful scenery while basking in the sun.
When we touched the Saona island, we spent around 3 hours there enjoying our vacation. They had some canopy beds to lay down and relax under palm trees. We had the choice to swim in the crystal clear water and waist deep. Dominican food was served for lunch. On top of everything, we were also taught how to dance Dominican Music with the staff and later on departed on a speed boat to visit the world largest natural pool. It’s known for its huge variety of starfish and shallow. Beautiful crystal water. We took a lots of pictures with starfish.
My overall experience was great. The Saona island trip was worthwhile. I will definitely do it again anytime I go back to Punta Cana.
